よく使われるLet's ...「．．．しましょう」に比べると，It might be a good idea if we ...は控えめな提案になります．
使用頻度は，以前紹介した同様の意味のIt might be a good idea to ...の方が高いですが，このIt might be a good idea if we ...もそこそこ使われます．
「英会話例文」
I thought it might be a good idea if we opened the restaurant to the public. 「私たちがそのレストランを一般にオープンにすることは良いアイデアかもしれないと思った。」
